2017 Year in Review: Editor's Letter to the Readers of the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry

Published:January 11, 2018DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jagp.2018.01.003
I would like to share with you some reflections on the Journal and the changes introduced by its editorial board over the past 2 years, since the start of my tenure as editor in chief on January 1, 2016. First, I extend thanks to the Board, both standing members and young associates newly added, for their dedication to the Journal's mission and for their wisdom. The Journal truly represents the product of the Board and of our many colleagues—you—who serve generously as peer reviewers (over 700!). I also thank our publisher, Josh Spieler at Elsevier, together with David Newcomb and Nancy Nicklas, our managing editors at Stellarmed. Josh, David, and Nancy are great colleagues who make the editor-in-chief's job much easier.
